Our Story
EWaste Phoenix was founded in 2018 in Phoenix, Arizona, after our team kept watching local hospitals, banks, school districts, and law firms hand their retired servers and laptops over to out-of-state brokers - losing chain-of-custody the moment the truck left the loading dock. Compliance officers were signing off on shredding events they could never actually witness, and Certificates of Destruction were arriving weeks later (if at all) from facilities thousands of miles away.
We started EWaste Phoenix to give Arizona organizations a different option: a fully certified ITAD partner headquartered in Phoenix, with destruction performed at our Scottsdale processing center - never offshored, never brokered, never untraceable. Within our first three years we earned dual compliant certification, built our own serialized chain-of-custody system, and standardized a 24-hour COD turnaround for every data-bearing device we receive.

Corporate Structure
EWaste Phoenix is the dedicated ITAD and electronic recycling brand operating under Techbros Electronic Recycle. Techbros is our parent organization; EWaste Phoenix is the operating brand you contract with, invoice with, and receive every Certificate of Destruction from.
In practice: your sales contact, pickup driver, processing technician, COD, and account manager all wear EWaste Phoenix uniforms and use EWaste Phoenix systems. All audits and compliance documentation are issued under the EWaste Phoenix name. Techbros provides the underlying corporate infrastructure that lets us focus exclusively on certified ITAD for Arizona organizations.
Where We Operate
Our headquarters and intake bay are in Phoenix, Arizona. Certified data destruction and downstream processing happen at our Scottsdale processing center. Together they handle every pickup we run across the Phoenix metropolitan area and statewide Arizona - including Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Avondale, Goodyear, Chandler, and beyond.

Federal Media Sanitization Standard
All data-bearing media is sanitized using NIST 800-88 Purge or Destroy methods. SSDs are physically shredded to ≤2mm particle size, hard drives are crushed and shredded, and the sanitization method per device is recorded on the serialized Certificate of Destruction - the artifacts HIPAA, SOX, and CMMC auditors require.

Our processing program prohibits landfill disposal and prohibits export of hazardous e-waste to developing countries. All material streams flow through vetted domestic downstream partners with audited material accountability for every device we process.

Our Phoenix headquarters at 1721 W. Rose Garden Ln Suite 3 is purpose-built for secure electronics processing, data destruction, and materials recovery.
100% of the electronics we process are recycled or repurposed. Nothing - absolutely nothing - goes to a landfill. This has been our commitment since day one, and it always will be.
Every material stream is tracked and documented. Precious metals are recovered through certified refining partners. Plastics, glass, and other components are separated and fed back into the manufacturing supply chain. Hazardous materials like lead, mercury, and cadmium are safely managed according to strict EPA and Arizona DEQ standards.
