From Your Office to Zero Landfill: Our Process
Step 1 — Intake and Grading
Every device is logged into our serialized tracking system on arrival. We photograph, grade, and assign a unique ID to each asset — creating an unbroken chain of custody from the moment it enters our facility.
Step 2 — Data Destruction
Any device with data storage — hard drives, SSDs, phones, tablets, copiers — undergoes certified NIST 800-88 compliant data destruction before any further processing. A Certificate of Data Destruction is issued for every device.
Step 3 — Reuse Assessment
Devices that meet our refurbishment criteria are tested, cleaned, and prepared for certified secondary-market resale. Extending useful life recovers value for your organization and reduces environmental impact.
Step 4 — Responsible Disassembly
Devices that cannot be reused are disassembled by hand. Components are sorted by material type — circuit boards, metals, plastics, glass — and routed to certified downstream processors.
Step 5 — Zero Landfill Certification
Nothing we process goes to landfill. You receive a Certificate of Recycling documenting total weight recycled and the environmental impact of your contribution.

Why Electronic Recycling Matters for Phoenix Businesses
Every year, millions of pounds of electronic waste are generated across the Phoenix metropolitan area as offices refresh IT infrastructure and facilities decommission equipment. Without proper recycling, these devices end up in landfills, where toxic materials like lead, mercury, and cadmium can leach into the Sonoran Desert’s groundwater — and any data-bearing device becomes a security liability.
At EWaste Phoenix, every piece of business electronic waste is an opportunity to prevent environmental harm, recover valuable materials, and protect your data. Our certified facility at 1721 W. Rose Garden Ln Suite 3 processes thousands of devices each month, ensuring copper, aluminum, gold, and rare-earth elements are responsibly recovered and returned to the manufacturing supply chain.
