The Phoenix metropolitan area - home to over 5 million residents and one of the fastest-growing tech corridors in the country - generates an estimated 80,000+ tons of electronic waste annually. Nationally, e-waste is the fastest-growing waste stream, increasing at three times the rate of general municipal solid waste. Yet only 15–25% of e-waste is properly recycled; the rest ends up in landfills or is exported to developing countries for unsafe processing.

The environmental consequences are severe. Electronics contain a complex mix of hazardous materials: lead in solder and CRT glass, mercury in LCD backlights and switches, cadmium in batteries and semiconductors, brominated flame retardants in plastics, and hexavalent chromium in metal housings. When these materials leach into Arizona's soil and groundwater, they create contamination that can persist for decades and threaten drinking water supplies.

At the same time, electronics contain valuable recoverable materials - gold, silver, copper, palladium, aluminum, and rare earth elements - that can be extracted and fed back into manufacturing. One ton of circuit boards contains 40–800 times the concentration of gold found in one ton of gold ore. Recovering these materials through recycling requires a fraction of the energy needed for virgin mining, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and preserving finite natural resources.

For sustainability reporting, we provide verified weight-based recycling data, downstream accountability documentation, and Scope 3 emissions calculations aligned with the GHG Protocol. For compliance teams, our certificates of destruction reference NIST 800-88 Rev. 2 and are formatted to satisfy HIPAA, SOX, GLBA, and CMMC audit requirements. For finance teams, we document value recovery amounts, resale proceeds, and recycling credits in a format your accounting team can use directly.

We've processed projects for companies subject to SEC climate disclosure requirements, the EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), and Arizona's state privacy laws. Responsible recycling doesn't end at our facility door. As an responsible recycler, we maintain documented accountability for every material stream - from the moment electronics enter our facility to the final destination of every recovered material.

No overseas exports. We do not export any materials to developing countries for processing. Every downstream vendor we work with operates within the United States, holds the appropriate EPA and state environmental permits, and undergoes our qualification and audit process.

Vendor qualification program. Before any downstream processor receives materials from our facility, they must pass our vetting process: verification of environmental permits, review of compliance history with EPA and state regulators, confirmation of insurance and financial stability, and evaluation of their own downstream management practices.
