Challenge

12 hospital facilities needed simultaneous server room decommissions in 60 days, with full HIPAA chain-of-custody documentation across 847 servers, 2,340 hard drives, 156 storage arrays, and 89 network switches - including 14 vendor-proprietary radiology imaging servers with unusual clustered storage and 76 unmanifested discovery items found on site.

What We Did

Built a single unified manifest across all 12 sites, assigned a named technician to each pickup, GPS-tracked every transport bin, and reconciled every serial against intake at our Scottsdale facility. NIST 800-88 Purge for HDDs, on-site witnessed shredding for the licensed imaging cluster drives, and a signed discovery addendum for every unmanifested item.
